Whilst we think you cannot beat the joys of visiting the bookshop, taking your time to peruse the shelves before selecting a paperback, taking it to the till and handing over payment as the book is slipped into a brown paper bag, hidden from the rain under your jacket. Later in the warmth of your own home with a cup of tea and in a moment of peace and quiet, the book is removed from its paper bag and the first page opened... a new discovery has began.
