We are delighted that Santa Claus will be upstairs at our children's bookshop, Little Madhatter Emporium on Saturday from 10.30 until 12.30 and 2.00 until 3.30.

There is no need to book, just come along and fill your soul with Christmas spirit!

As a busy grown up it is sometimes difficult to make time to remember how Christmas felt as a child, the magic, filled with excitement, wonder, and the mystery of Santa Claus. A time of simple joys like waking up early to see presents, enjoying special family traditions like decorating the tree or baking cookies, and the thrill of anticipating gifts.

Unlike the stress of adult celebrations, the focus for children is on the magic of the season, family, and being present in the moment. The belief in a old man with a broad face and a little round belly that shook, when he laugh'd, like a bowl full of jelly...chubby and plump; a right jolly old elf; creating a sense of magic and infinite possibility.
