If any of this resonates with you then we would love to hear from you. Along side Burford Literary Festival we are launching Madhatter Young Writers Award 2021.
As an independent bookshop we want to do more than just recommend, advise and provide books we want to promote the love of the written word. With the launch of the Madhatter Young Writers Award we aim to encourage young people not only to engage with the written word but to be brave to put forward their thoughts ideas and prose forward and show it to an audience of booksellers, authors and editors.
We will be posting the finer details here in the weeks to come but in the meantime there will be three age categories 23 and under, 18 and under and 16 and under. Within each age group there will be three sections Fiction, Non-Fiction and Poetry.
