Children's Book Project - we need your help!

It is that time of year when we ask you to help us give books to children who have none of their own in collaboration with The Children's Book Project.

The Children's Book Project are a charity who work with settings across the UK to redistribute thousands of new and gently used books to children and their families.

We all know how important it is for a child to have a book of their own, books are not only magical portals to other worlds they are the gateway to improving intellectual and motor skills.

How you can help!

Please search your book shelves for any gently used books and deliver them to our children's bookshop. The Little Madhatter Emporium, 103 High Street, Burford.

If you are able, then we would be delighted to accept new books, just pop into Little Madhatter, purchase a new book, prices start at £6 - and give it to a member of staff who will ensure if gets to The Children's Book Project.

Last year we handed over in the region of 150 books and we would be thrilled to make that 200 books this year. Deadline for donations is 21st June.

This is a project very close to my heart and I very much appreciate your help.

Happy Reading!

Kim
